Beautiful folk art, CHOKWE, LUNDA spectrum, DR Congo, 1920-30

Wonderful example of fine folk art; an image made for the colonials in the 1920-30s. Must be placed within the Chokwe, Lunda spectrum. Female figure with depicted straw skirt and a suit with transverse stripes in white and black and a large collar with figurative decorations, also in black and white. Made of a light wood type and almost 100 years old!
