Old fer noir FON altar statue, Benin, 1940-50

Handmade iron (fer noir) altar statue of the Fon. A crown-shaped upper part with inside a bird connected with a pin, which is mounted in a stand. Fine, tribal object, which has a strong appearance, due to its usage and age. Look carefully at the photos. The object with the aforementioned traces is in decently good condition.
