Very old tribally used altar statue of SUKU, DR Congo, 1920-30

Very old, authentic tribal, intensively used altar statue of the SUKU from the DR Congo. Intriguing figurine with a conical tapering base of wood, partly wrapped in sisal twine with a finely carved cup above. At the top of a hollow. Traces of use and aging are evident. Patina in different layers due to use and age. Shrinkage cracks on both sides at the top. Please take a good look at the pictures. Furthermore in good used condition! Rare and very strong old tribal object!
