Old used tribal pestle, BACONGO, DR Congo, mid 20th century

Authentic old tribal heavily used pestle of the Congolese Bacongo. Pestle like these are used to crush things in a mortar or jar. Beautiful use and aging patina, striking appearance! and neatly placed on a custom-made metal stand. Look closely at the photos, shrinkage tear on the left.
