Fertility doll of the FANTE, Ghana, 2nd half of the 20th century

Charming object this fertility doll from the Fante. Dolls like these were given to young married girls so that they could have a fruitful marriage. Beautiful deep brown colour, finely worked and various chains of tiny beads. On the back, the top is decorated with various geometric patterns. Good condition!
