Very large ancestor statue, IBO, Nigeria, mid 20th century

Very large old ancestor statue of the Ibo from Nigeria, full of character. Long slender statue with a beautiful varied patina. Some erosion due to the ravages of time, but still hard everywhere and made of a hard type of wood. The statue has a remarkably long neck and has a magnificent appearance! It is glued on a foot. See the pictures!
