Old used shaman statue on stand, Nepal, ca 1960

Authentic, used old wooden shaman statue from Nepal. Shaman statue like this bear a resemblance to the greeting statues, namaskara mudra. On this shaman statue you can clearly see the traditional costume, a mustache and the headdress. The block on top of the head is intended for hanging offerings. These are often strips of cloth or amulets. The statue has a fitting patina regarding use and age. Battered by the test of time but hard though and placed on a professional stand that is of course included. Special and authentic statue! See the pictures
