OverviewSo-called cap cap "talking" mask from the Nigerian Ibo. Stylistically strong Ibo mask with the right style features. The mouth/jaw is loosely attached and can therefore move. It is attached with a string. Hence the name "talking mask". These types of masks are more common among the Ogoni and much less frequent among the Ibo. Small chip on the hairdress on the left but in good condition overall.
