OverviewBeautiful object, this belt of a lama, monk. The images are related to Bön Buddhism, an archetype of Buddhism with Tibetan roots. 12 bronze skulls and a bronze Tara head at the bottom. Tara is a meditation god worshiped by practitioners of the Tibetan branch of Vajrayana Buddhism to develop certain inner qualities and to understand outer, inner and secret teachings. The bronze skulls are attached to a woven cotton band, trimmed and decorated with gold thread. It is a decorative object. Good condition.
