Necklace from the ASHANTI, Ghana, 2nd half of the 20th century
OverviewNecklace from the Ashanti from Ghana. The pendant is in the form of an openwork tube made of a metal alloy and decorated with geometric patterns and the twisted circles known to be work of the Ashanti. The necklace consists of 13 braided strands of polyester and a single metal ring and the closure in the neck.
