Solid terracotta tomb statue, Ejagham (Ekoï), south Nigeria, sw Cameroon

Particularly fine and appealing statue, this massive terra cotta burial statue of the Ejagham, also called Ekoï, from the extreme south of Nigeria and southwest of Cameroon. Striking condition! and a warm varied patina. Because an age test is expensive, I sell it for a deco price. Cannot indicate age. The statue is neatly placed on a metal stand that is of course included! See the pictures!
