Very old fetish protection statue from the Sumba, Indonesia, 1900-1920

Truly honest object, this protection statue, which must be dated between 1900 and 1920. Rare and especially rare in tact too! Right on the belly a charge that is closed with wood. Remnants of libations are visible in the patina. A striking statue, minimalist in design, stylistically correct and with a beautiful appearance! The statue is placed on a custom made stand.
