Two bronze ceremonial swords, Myanmar, mid 20th century
OverviewStriking pair of these two ceremonial bronze swords. The swords have remnants of gold leaf and texts in the local language are visible on the blade. One sword has 4 heads, the other seems to have a somewhat abract animal head. Varied patina. Monks sell these kinds of swords in temples, also as a source of income. They are then blessed and used by families for a special purpose. See the pictures
