Two very old bronze bracelets, West Africa, 19th and 1st half 20th century
OverviewBeautiful lot! Two old bronze bracelets. The oldest, for an adult female, is believed to be late 19th century. This one looks like an abstract snake and also has its scalish structure. Convincing patina appropriate to use and age! The other was for a child and has a pattern of some kind of blocks with a line through it. This has a beautiful deep bronze patina and dates from the mid-20th century or slightly earlier. See the pictures!
