Hardwood drummer, Nepal, 2nd half 20th century

Rare, in this appearance as a drummer ... made in the style of the Namaskara Mudra greeting statues and guard statues, but in this case as a drummer. No chain around the neck, but can also be a shaman ... Beautiful statue!! Stylistically interesting too. I find him the most beautiful side profile. Age difficult to indicate ... think to see some oxidation of the wood, which would indicate that the sculpture is possibly about 50 years old at least. Estimation a bit broader to be safe...
