Overview

Quite rare authentic tribal object, this older altar statue from the Adan tribe. The Adan are a small subgroup of the Ewe and live in the south-east of Ghana. The hose is silver coloured and placed on a custom-made stand. The snake symbolizes the ancestor, founder of the tribe. Appropriate traces of use and age. A great opportunity for the collector of authentic tribally used objects... for a modest price! See the pictures.
