Very rare! Couple of the BANZA, DR Congo, 1960-70

Very rare, this beautiful couple from the Banza tribe from DR Congo. Falls under the Ubangi spectrum. These statues are almost a copy of a couple that is in the Tervuren museum. Therefore designate as "decorative" but no less special! Correct in style and with a beautiful patina too. Both statues are placed on a base. The area where these statues come from is inaccesible.. it still is. And they are made in the tribe, which makes them rare and special. See the pictures!!
