Neck rest and chest, China, 2nd half of the 20th century

Nice object! this Chinese neck rest with lock and also a box that can be used, for example, to store jewelry. The wooden chest shows birds and floral patterns on top, partly shiny in gold. The inside of the box is covered with printed paper with drawings and characters. Reasonably good condition. Only on the back seam where the box hinges are small pieces of the red adhesive missing.
