Extremely rare! Ngbaka statue, Ubangi area, DR Congo, 1960-70

Very rare wooden statue, Ngbaka spectrum with typical strong archaic visual power typical of the legendary Ubangi style. The name for it is Nabo. The neck decoration refers to wars and/or deaths. The proportions of the corpus are correct. The statue is mounted on a pedestal. This statue comes from an old Flemish collection.
