Metal snake, LOBI, Burkina Faso, ca 1960

Iron snake of the Lobi from Burkina Faso. Quite large in this case and placed on a custom made stand with magnets. The snake symbolizes harmony, connection and appears as a symbol of connection in all kinds of objects. Was probably used as an altar statue. Good condition, see the photos.
