Large strong face mask, West Nepal, 2nd half of the 20th century

Very powerful appearance, this fairly large hard wooden face mask from the West of Nepal. Remnants of kaolin staining are still visible. Beautifully shaped with a toothed mouth and flowing lines on the face. Matching patina. Large chip on top, but you can't see it when you hang it. BARGAIN PRICE!!
