Great! Old tribally used mask, Markha, Bambara, Mali, 1920-40

Intensively used very old tribal mask of the Markha/Bambara. Lots of character and soul in this authentic mask! These types of masks are used during solstice ceremonies to ask for rain and/or a good harvest. Metal brass plates and overall a fitting and beautiful use and age patina. I also had a custom-made stand made for it. These types of masks are often copied; real old and used ones like this are not easy to find and are often 2 to 3 times the price I ask. A great opportunity for the collector of authentic ethno!! Good used condition!
