Old Namaskara Mudra greeting statue, Nepal, mid 20th century

Beautiful wooden putali!! Namaskara Mudra greeting statue made of wood. Archaic strong statue with a very appealing flaky patina. The figure is sitting on a stool. What catches the eye is the minimalistic worked "head" which is very expressive. The head has a flat top. It could be that objects were placed on it for offering or worship. Good used condition and rare in this appearance!
