Older altar fetish statue, CHOKWE, Angola, ca 1960

Beautifully carved fetish altar statue of the Chokwe from Angola. The statue has 3 charges; one under the left nostril, one at the anus and one at the crotch. This is a hermaphrodite statue. Stylistically strong and correct statue with a striking hairdress. Good condition, see the photos.
