Beautiful very old EWE statue, Togo, 1900-1920

A communication statue meant to communicate with the ancestors. Listening with one arm. Focused on the spiritual world. Therefore no other arm.. related to working on earth. Great patina over the entire statue! A charge in the anus, with visible kaolin. Visible oxidation on the wood. The statue is made of very dense hardwood. As far as I'm concerned a unicat in a good used condition. Great expression!!
