Overview

Very strong and very expressive statue this Namaskara Mudra, greeting statue. Beautiful contrast between the modest hands in the palm to palm greeting position and the angular head of the statue. The statue has been outside, judging by the erosion on the head. You will find greeting statues and guardian statues everywhere in Nepal. On a bridge, by a large tree, a washing place, in or in front of the house ... They come in many different forms, where you can sometimes recognize the region by the style.
The statue could no longer stand on its own so I had a beautiful stand made for it. The statue is free of insects. The holes are no longer inhabited. To be on the safe side, the statue was also wrapped in double plastic in the freezer for a month. See the photos for the condition.
