Large used wooden spoon. This spoon has long been used in the preparation or serving of food. Originates from the Swat Valley, Ladakh, India. Ladakh, inhabited by Indo-Aryans and Tibetans, is one of the least populated locations in the region. Ladakh's isolated alpine beauty and culture are well known. It is often called "Little Tibet" because it is strongly influenced by Tibetan culture.
Beautiful utensil from that culture, in excellent condition and blessed with a beautiful patina appropriate to use and age.
