Namaskara Mudra begroetingsbeeld, Nepal, ca 1960

Endearing Namaskara Mudra greeting image of quite large size. You can find these types of images everywhere in Nepal in all kinds of formats. Sometimes a very large one near the largest tree in the village or as a guardian statue near a bridge and often on the house altars. Also more often on the veranda or sacrificed in a place where several are lying together. This one also experienced the weather, especially at the rear. The statue is free of bugs because it has been wrapped in plastic in the freezer for three weeks. I had the statue placed on a wooden block. See the photos!
