Gaius Plinius Secundus maior, nicknamed maior, or the Elder, in distinction from his cousin Plinius the Younger of the same name, was a Roman soldier, man of letters and amateur scientist. Very refined terra cotta head in exceptionally good condition!
It is neatly placed on a custom-made stand.
