Extremely rare! BAULE BO ÚSU statuette, Ivory Coast, mid 20th century

Authentic and intensively used statue. This statue was used by a feticheur. When dealing with questions or clients, this statue is used as a portal through which he allows himself to be occupied by spirits in a trance. When the feticheur is finished, the ghosts leave him again. A charge is held on the belly of the statue. Thick layer because of the many libitations. Only very sporadically can a statue like this be obtained.
